Day 1. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
On arrival in Victoria Falls you will be met by your Driver/Guide and taken to your campsite. In the evening, a popular optional activity is to spent it doing a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Whilst navigating the channels and islands above the Falls, we keep a look out for wildlife. Hippo and crocodiles are often spotted and sometimes other animals come to the river for a refreshing drink after a long hot day.

Day 2. Robin’s Camp, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
Leaving Victoria Falls behind, we head South to Hwange National Park. Once the royal hunting grounds to the Ndebele warrior-king Mzilikazi, it was set aside as a National Park in 1929 and is the largest in Zimbabwe. Our camp is located in the Northern area of the Park. After setting up camp we will be free to relax before taking an afternoon Game Drive in an Open 4×4 vehicle with an experienced local guide. The park contains 400 bird species and 105 species of game including the ‘Big Five’.

Day 3. Robin’s Camp, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
Today is spent game driving in the world famous Hwange National Park.  We will undertake a Morning and an Afternoon drive and explore the nearby areas and waterholes in search of game.  A break in the middle of the day allows for a siesta or cooling swim in the camp pool – perfect options as the animals hide in the cooling shade!

Day 4. Thebe River Lodge, Kasane, Botswana
This morning we will depart Hwange. We drive west heading for the Botswana border. After crossing we continue on our journey to Kasane. A small town located on the edge of the Chobe River and the National Park. Our accommodation is at Thebe River Lodge and is the ideal place to base our exploration of the Chobe National Park, which is home to large herds of Elephants and many other species. We will undertake an afternoon game cruise and we expect to have some excellent game viewing opportunities.

Day 5. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
An early morning start and we head into Chobe National Park in open safari 4×4 vehicles for a final chance to view some wildlife. Following the game drive we return to Victoria Falls, arriving in the early afternoon. This afternoon we will be able to visit the Falls themselves, Mosi-O-Tunya in the local language or “The Smoke that Thunders”, as the water drops 110 meters into the Batoka Gorge – an awe inspiring sight.

Day 6, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Our tour ends after breakfast, with a transfer to Victoria Falls Airport.
